Education
From the very first years of our presence in Pakistan, we gave priority to education believing that ignorance in the cause off all evil. Today we give our share in the education section through our insertion in the Nursery, Primary and Secondary School. According to our charism we give first preference to the underprivileged and strive in all possible ways to make education available to all. In our school we offer holistic education thus enabling the students to grow up as honest and responsible citizens a well as good Christians.

The PTA (Parents Teacher Associations) is involved in all the school's initiatives. They are regularly kept informed about current issues taking place in the school. We are very grateful for the interest and co-operation shown by the parents; their appreciation and admiration have been a great source of encouragement. We laid special emphasis on extra curriculum activities such as sports and drama.

Boarding Schools
The Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus are very well aware that many children in villages and rural areas do not have an opportunity for good, sound, Christian education. So we offer the parents the opportunity of boarding hostels where they can feel secure in sending their children under the care of the sisters. Today we are proud of these girls and boys who have been through our boarding. Many of them became nurses, teachers, or serving their society in a better way. Some of them have joined our congregation and are taking role of leadership within our congregation while continuing to live out the charism of Mother Margherita.




Health Care
Health ministries have always been one of our chief apostolate. In Pakistan people are still deprived of their basic health care needs especially in villages where the facilities of hospitals are lacking. In emergency cases they have nowhere to go. So as most of our convents are in villages, and the sisters are living in solidarity with the poor they work dispensaries Maternity Home, T.B center and clinics. Besides this out reach programmes takes place regularly. During these programmes the Sisters go to rural places to visit the sick offering treatment and provided medicine and give awareness sessions about first aids, hygiene.




PastoralWork
Pastoral work in the Parishes is carried out with great dedication. Sisters visit the families, to help them live their faith in the spirit of Christ. Further more on Sundays they give Catechism classes, help in the preparation for the sacraments while keeping in mind the charism of our Congregation that our dear Mother Margherita always loved to make Christ known through these activities. Thanks be to God the pastoral work which is urgently needed is carried out diligently.















Justice and Peace Commission
Three Sisters are the members of Justice and Peace Commission. The main task of this commission is to tackle the problems of Christians which they face being a minority in Pakistan.

Stars of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Association
Mother Margherita is a fascinating figure both as a Religious and as a Franciscan rich in humanity in virtues. Devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and love for St. Francis of Assisi both are hidden in the personality of our dear mother. Being the daughters of Mother Margherita we always felt the responsibility to make Christ known through the message of love. As a result in different communities the sisters are fostering the Association of the Stars of the Heart of Jesus thus working hand in hand with the laity. In different places these groups meet once a month and they participate in our congregational feast days. They are also invited to join us in our First Friday Adorations "Let us love the love which is not loved" finds its fulfilment in the hearts of all the Christian in Pakistan.
